I just wanted to follow up with you on the work you put in regarding the skate modifications you did for our son, Nick. Not only did you properly evaluate the situation, also but you promptly corrected a severe ankle problem created by years of wearing the wrong size skates. You provided him with a new pair of skates modified to his specific needs that he says now "fit like a glove and allow him to skate pain free"! I am most impressed with the fact that considering that you are in Edmonton and our son is in Texas and relying on measurements and photos, you were able to achieve this result and turn the skates around in a matter of days. As you know from the digital photos, the ankle problems he developed over time were severe and to the point that he seriously considered not playing anymore Junior hockey, but your efforts will allow him to continue to play and likely even improve his skating now that he is properly fitted and pain free. Over the past 3 years we have tried various solutions from other hockey store "professionals" without expected results. We even went to the extent of surgically correcting his ankles, but not knowing that he was not properly fitted into his skates, the problem reoccurred the vary next season.
