Skate Stretching
Even the best available boot may not be a perfect fit. Professional Skate has the equipment and expertise to alter the shape of a skate to match the individual skater's foot.
For example, specific pressure points like those over the anklebone, arch, or the side of a toe, can be stretched ("popped") to relieve pressure on the area.
We can also stretch the skate's length to allow for a small difference in foot size, or to help that young growing foot get through the last month of the season.
For more specific figure and hockey skate stretching information, visit our Figure Skate Stretching page and our Hockey Skate Stretching page.
The cost for stretching the length of a pair of hockey or figure skates is $30.00/pair.
The cost of stretching for small fit-adjustments will range from $5.00 - $15.00
(We frequently make minor adjustments for existing customers at no charge.)
